Today, tomorrow, and Beyond

Getting to and living in Amsterdam, currently the 25th most expensive city in the world, will take more than wishful thinking:

6 week Counter trafficking Training upon arrival: $2,080

followed by a 6 week Internship: $800 - 2,000 Depending on Location

Netherland’s ResidencY Permit: $358 - Airfare: $800 One Way - Temporary Lodging PER NIGHT: $90 - $140

Cost of Living Per Month for one person: Approx. $3200

Rental: $1400 - $2500 a Month - Food & Supplies: $390 - $530

Monthly Pass for Local Transportation: $91 - Taxi: $4.32 Per Mile

Basic Utilities: $281 - Internet: $50 - Gym Membership: $64.50

ywam 5-6 month discipleship training school

Note: This breakdown does not include all expected costs, this is just an anticipated average for the basics for me alone; and does not cover ministry costs or expansion. There is also a housing shortage in Amsterdam creating high cost and high demand. Securing a rental will take time, and temporary lodgings are just part of living a missionary life. It is my goal to secure permanent lodging within six months, but that all depends on funding, availability, and God’s will. Flexibility and going with the flow are musts in this line of work, and permanence may or may not be in His plan for me.
